Our client is a well established and prominent Sustainability Consultancy, focusing on all Building Services disciplines. They are passionate about integrating ESD into the built environment and providing their clients with environmentally sustainable solutions that are also commercially viable.
Due to their reputation and careful business planning strategies, they have not been overly affected by the global economic crisis. Their current workload has kept their staff very busy and they urgently require the services of an additional Hydraulic Engineer for a 4 to 8 week period.
You will work alongside a supportive technical team in an environment that works collaboratively to develop creative, sustainable solutions for their client’s projects.
As the ideal candidate, you will have experience in the hydraulic design of medium to major projects (Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Medical/Health, Educational, Retail etc.) producing:
Full design, documentation & specifications of hydraulic systems (hot/cold water, sanitary plumbing & drainage, gas reticulation, hydrant/hose reel services, grey water and rain water recycling systems etc) to meet AS and BCA.
Report writing.
Tender document preparation.
You will require:
Ideally a degree qualification. (Applicants with a Diploma or other relevant qualifications and experience will also be considered).
Minimum 5+ years experience, Australian experience and solid knowledge of the relevant sections of the BCA and AS.
Experience of sustainable design principles would be preferred, but not necessary.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Ability to interact and work in a TEAM environment.
